Since we will be doing instruction during the Lab Meeting, not just working through the material, attendance is necessary.
Make-up labs will only be allowed in the case of an excused absence or a documented, valid emergency. The student must make arrangements with the Lab Instructor to schedule a make-up during another Lab time within a week of returning.
If you miss a Lab send email to your Lab Instructor. It is often
possible to attend another Lab Meeting later in the same week
to makeup a missed Lab, space permitting. All scheduled CS 10051 labs may be
seen at
http://classes.cs.kent.edu/schedule .
If you make up a lab in another lab instructor's class, have the instructor sign
your lab notes to verify you attended his/her lab and performed the work there.
The Manual contains detail instrunctions for each Lab Experience and perforated Worksheet pages. Each Lab Experience has a trailing Worksheet. Your Lab Reports will be derived from the notes you recorded during
the Lab in your Lab Worksheet.
This allows us to check that your Lab Reports follow the data that you collected in your Lab Worksheet.
Only the worksheet pages for the current Lab Experience are to be turned in, not the
entire Lab Manual.
